THE AUTO GUARDIAN SOLUTION
A team of caring inventors has solved the problem of how to keep living beings from dying the agonizing death of heatstroke because they were left alone in a car.
The two inventors, who worked together on other projects, decided three years ago to put their heads together to solve this problem that has been eluding the auto industry for at least 2 decades.
While the death toll is small compared to statistics for auto accidents, the idea of defenseless children or family pets perishing in this agonizing way is no longer acceptable.
THE AUTO GUARDIAN LIFE SAVING SYSTEM
* A solution based on an intelligent system. No human intervention required in daily operation of danger detection, life sustaining operations, warning and calling for rescue actions. It is autonomous.
* The system employs vehicle's native sensors for detection, such as temperature sensors, weight sensors, air quality sensors, motion detection sensors, GPS, etc. The solution is designed in such a way to enable it be easily adapted to vehicles with different sensor combinations.
* The system employs vehicle's native hardware to perform life sustaining actions, such as power windows, A/C, engine, wireless communication capabilities, alarm siren, horn, etc.
* It is a software based system that probes sensors to gauge the exterior and interior conditions, and, based on the conditions and danger probability assessment, issues commands to perform life sustaining actions, and issues warning messages, rescue (i.e., 911), etc, based on the state of the situation.
Probability Model of A Potential Danger Situation
_________________________________________________________________________________Automobiles – it should be mandatory that all vehicles that transport people or animals – be equipped with the patented Auto Guardian program that will provide a tiered-intervention process to sustain life in a hot (or cold) car until rescuers can arrive.
The Auto Guardian consists of a series of alerts within the cabin of the vehicle that trigger increasingly aggressive intervention procedures to sustain life.
The final step, although it is hoped it will never be needed, is an audible – human-sounding voice – blasting out a message for any and all passers-by to hear: “BABY DANGER,” repeated over and over again until the living being within the car has been safely removed from the vehicle.
As with head on collisions and air bags, there is only one right way to address this issue and the Auto Guardian's inventors, Yu and Apelian have delivered.
Families and advocates have been demanding it for years. The system can be incorporated into any and all vehicles. It remains viable and active for the secondary or tertiary buyers as well.
